It had been a while ago, but recently we went out for dinner with friends in a local agriturismo, which is synonimous for tasty & simple food made with local products in a nice and tranquil atmosphere.
And Bio Agriturismo Tenuta Antica in Cessole met all these criteria, home-made delicacies and a wide choice of excellent wines, the rosé Carpe Diem and the Barbera Luca are highly recommended.
The owner Maria Pia manages her kitchen and bursts with enthusiasm. She first made us a plate with all kinds of delicious local products, then a beautifully served pasta for me and risotto with herbs for Nicolas, then potatoes from the oven, grilled vegetables and a choice between three kinds of meat, for dessert I chose the panna cotta of course.
We sat outside and it was a relaxing and carefree summer evening while eating and drinking. Highly recommended !

We are lucky that it usually does not reach as high as our house, with the result that the sun is already shining when we get up, but in the village they have no idea whether it will be a sunny or cloudy day. Thanks to Nicolas, they now have a walking weatherman who informs them about the weather forecast for that day ... See MoreSee Less
